My birth sessions cover your entire birthing experience, from active labor, through the first few hours of your new baby’s life in a beautiful and real documentary style. I capture your journey through labor, your baby’s first breath and first cry, cutting the cord, your first expression when you see her face, and everything about that brand new bundle of joy and each one of her first precious and incredible moments of life.
Why should I hire YOU to be my birth photographer?
Birth photography is so unique as it captures the raw images of birth the good, bad and those once in a life time moment that most people only hold in their memory are displayed to be cherished for a life time. Labor and birth are unpredictable, so this won’t be like a typical photo session. The lighting in most cases will be very dim, and planning what will happen is un-predictable. I shoot your birth as it unfolds. I am sensitive to your needs as a laboring woman and understand that my role is to capture moments quietly and in an unobtrusive nature. Having been on both sides of the birth process and working as a DONA certified birth doula I also can relate to which moments you may want to preserve and how to ensure they are captured forever
